"This poster discusses the use of polarized light for imaging of superficial layers of biological tissues.
Such imaging is especially useful for imaging of skin cancer and epithelial dysplasia in the gastrointestinal tract, the bronchial tree of the lung, the cervix, and other tissue surfaces where cancer arises."
