Two different mixtures of microspheres were used. The scattering anisotropy, absorption and scattering coefficients for monodisperse samples were derived from unscattered light transmission, and total transmission and total diffuse reflection using the Inverse Adding-Doubling method. The monodisperse samples were mixed in different ratios and the optical properties of the mixtures were found. By comparing the analytical Mie theory values for the optical properties with the experimental results, we can estimate the limits of applicability of the proposed model for the scattering anisotropy.}, }
