In summary,
current efforts to image with
polarized light are investigating the spatial distribution, angular distribution,
and wavelength distribution of scattered light.Next,
we show an example of a simplified
approach toward
imaging with polarized light whose goal is to optimize
the contrast due to photons scattered from superficial
but subsurface photons.
