Morihiro Saito Morihiro Saito was born in Ibaraki Prefecture in March of 1928. In July of 1946 he met and became the student of Morihei Ueshiba at the Ibaraki Outdoor Dojo in Iwama. He became head of the Ibaraki Dojo in 1969 after the death of the founder. Together with his wife he cares for the Aiki Shrine next to the dojo.
